So do people not know that the guy who came up with that slogan had no involvement with the Pokémon games, and was just some 4Kids executive (Norman Grossfeld) who didn’t know anything about any of the anime his company dubbed?
I mean, the most rewarding goal in the games is building a good battling team, while you get virtually nothing for completing the Pokedex (which is nearly impossible in later games anyway).
